REGGAE ROAST SUMMER BBQ @ BIG CHILL HOUSE SATURDAY 3RD JULY
After the storming success of the last Reggae Roast BBQ at Big Chill House in May, the doors will swing open once again for another all day roots and culture dance in the heart of Kings Cross. Weather permitting, we hope to enjoy the spacious roof terrace throughout the day, with a BBQ serving tasty Jerk Chicken, while the tiki bar offers up a selection of cocktails.
Resident selectors Exel & Moodie will be joined by mic man Ramon Judah playing their usual selection of conscious roots music and big bass lines, plus an all star line-up to keep the fire burning until 3am.
Kenny Knots, a pioneer of the modern dancehall sound, will be playing an exclusive live PA of his classic tracks, plus some up-front dub plates, including collaborations with Mungo’s Hifi. Alongside Kenny Knots, the like of Lud Dub (Bigup Magazine USA), Louis Slipperz and Dub Hunter will be playing their toughest selections, spanning the whole spectrum of roots-reggae music.
