DJ MADD: FABRICLIVE MIX

It being a beautiful afternoon, and with the temperature hitting around 26 degrees, we figured it was around about that time where we post some hot-as-fuck new dubstep. Not the mid-range ear bashing-type, nor the smoked-out misty eyed ‘post’ type, but more the straight-up dancefloor-focussed-next-level-production-type - in other words, the type of dubstep that Budapest born, Bristol-based DJ Madd makes.
With recent releases on both Boka and Black Box, plus forthcoming material on Subway, Madd is attracting attention for all the right reasons. Though strictly for the floor, his productions carry an emotional weight and prolific use of space that many of his peers fail to harness in their own work. With his 12 track Fabriclive mix being almost entirely comprised of his own work (including an awesome Kryptic Minds remix of his recent Dub Marine) release, you can see why the world renowned club have booked him to play Room 3 alongside Kutz, Hyetal and Ital Tek on 9th July, along with Numbers 7th birthday in Room 1 and dn’b royalty in Room 2
